Not too long ago Mommy and I decided to bring a baby into our lives. We wanted to share our love with you as you grow and grow.
I was so excited to see your first sonogram pictures! They were so lovie; you were so tiny and precious; and you were definitely doing your first over-head kick. That was my favorite!
My excitement to have you finally come into our lives grows everyday, just like you in Mommy's tummy. I can't wait to meet you! I hope you have Mommy's pretty eyes; my dimples; Mommy's smarts; and your Daddy's mellow temperament.
I can't wait to see you take your first steps, hear you say "DADDY!", and eat spaghetti noodles with your chunka fingers! I want to take you fishing, bike riding, and to play in the sand at the beach. I can't wait to teach you to love and treat others the way you want others to love and treat you. I want you to be happy and confident in everything that you do and to dream BIG!

ReplyDeleteGrandpa and I are excited you are just about here too! I have been doing a lot of research for my textbook and once again am reminded of how lucky you are to have the daddy and mommy you have. They will do everything in their power with their love and all other efforts to make sure that you reach your potential in life. You have no idea how many babies coming into the world don't have that kind of support from parents, but you, lucky little one do! I am so proud of your daddy and mommy already for doing such a good job being your parents. I thank God everyday how lucky we all are having you about to come into our lives in this family with the parents you have! (I realize I may be a little prejudiced, but it is more than that)
